Adam Goldberg Photography specializes in creating stunning exterior images as an architectural photographer. Typical clients include Architects, Builders, and General Contractors. Additionally, if you are involved in the built environment in any way, then professional images are also for you. For companies in any of these industries, an image on a website, in a publication, or in a marketing pamphlet is the gateway for the public or potential clients to view their work. Professional photography by an architectural photographer is critical to accurately and artistically capture the space for attracting new clients and creating effective marketing materials.

The creative process is multi-faceted and a successful architectural photography shoot requires collaboration between the photographer and the client throughout all of the phases.
This is where we discuss the project details, photo usage, and shoot plan. This includes determining the views/angles of each shot, the shoot date, and other relevant information to ensure a successful shoot.
Each shot can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on the set-up. Set-up includes removing unnecessary objects, rearranging furniture, decluttering, and styling the space. Unedited images are viewed on an iPad so Adam Goldberg and the client can review and make changes to the perspective or styling in real-time.
All images are composite images and not HDR. Composite images are multiple photographs of the same view that are blended together. Each of the individual images that go into a composite image may have different levels of ambient light, supplemental lighting, people, and glare to name a few. Compositing all of these images together, along with color correction and other edits, can take multiple hours to edit an image into the artfully crafted final image that best represents the space.
Feedback on-site when reviewing images on the iPad is important for ensuring an image is framed and styled properly. However, each individual client has a finished look that they want. This is why after a first round of post-processing, clients are given proof images where they are able to provide their feedback on the edits – whether they be changes to color, contrast, etc – to ensure that the final images are ready for publication.
