Commissioned by HDR, I spent 4 days capturing the expansion to the Niswonger Children’s Hospital in Johnson City, Tenneesee. Key components of the project included photographing the exterior to show the added floors as well as patient rooms, nurses stations, lounge and waiting areas, as well as hallways. Wall graphics were a critical component of this project so ensuring that all of the different colors and children’s focused design elements were prominently featured in the final photographs. The close collaboration with the HDR team during planning and the day of the shoot helped to ensure we captured portfolio worthy images of the space.
